Kenslie Young

Children’s Ministry Coordinator & Communications Coordinator

Originally from New London, NC, Kenslie attended Long Island University in Brooklyn, where she cultivated a heart for serving others. With a deep passion for sharing the gospel and God’s love, she is dedicated to nurturing and teaching children, helping them grow in their faith.

As Children’s Ministry Coordinator, Kenslie oversees all children’s programming and works to create a loving, gospel-centered environment for kids to learn and thrive. She has extensive experience caring for children ages 0-8 and is committed to supporting families in building a thriving, faith-filled home life here in the city. Kenslie is excited to continue building a dynamic, engaging children’s ministry that equips young hearts to know and love God.

Outside of her ministry work, she enjoys baking, reading, painting, and traveling. Kenslie’s joy comes from seeing children and families grow together in Christ.

Storefront Church was planted and launched by an incredible team of over 30 volunteers, many of whom continue to serve every week to lead the Sunday Worship, pray for our neighborhood, support each other and partner with the communities along the Highline. Come meet us!
